Transparency Act
Reitan Retail and our subsidiaries are encompassed by the Norwegian Transparency Act. We support the objectives of the Act, which fits well with our responsibility- and business strategy.
The Norwegian Transparency Act aims to reduce the risk of violations of human rights and ensure decent working conditions within our own operations, across the value chain and in partnerships.
The law requires companies to carry out due diligence assessments in accordance with the OECD guidelines for multinational enterprises. As a company committed to upholding high business ethics, Reitan Retail continuously work to identify and assess negative impacts or harm stemming from our operations, supply chains, and in partnerships. We strive to learn more about our supply chain risks, improve risk management in the procurement process, and make our value chains and sourcing practices more sustainable.
Reitan Retail accounts for substantial risks, findings, actions and plans in the statement according to the Transparency Act for our business areas REMA 1000 Norway, REMA 1000 Denmark, Reitan Convenience and Uno-X Mobility.
REMA 1000 Norway and Uno-X Mobility also account individually for themselves and respective subsidiaries. Their statements according to the Transparency Act can be found here:
